Sound Medical Research has assembled a great team of investigators. Each investigator is board certified, trained in GCP and has an established local practice. The SMR team of investigators are very familiar with research and actively participate in the selection of studies and projects.
Dr. Frandsen is a board certified Family Medicine physician, Principal Investigator and the medical director at Sound Medical Research’s Medical. After receiving his Masters in Bio-Chemistry from University of California Riverside, he obtained his Medical Doctorate from Loma Linda Medical College of California. He went on to complete postdoctoral training and residency at the Cheyenne Family Practice in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Dr. Frandsen is the founder of Sound Health Care Center and has nearly 13 years of clinical trials experience.
Dr. Henne brings 26 years of experience in diagnostic radiology to the practice. Dr. Henne graduated from the medical school Technische Universität in Munich, Germany with a MD-PhD in 1983. Prior to medical school, Dr. Henne received a master’s degree in physics from the University in Freiburg, Germany. He completed his residency in radiology at the University of Mississippi Medical School and added additional radiology fellowship training at the University of South Alabama and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He has been published in scientific journals and has patents. He is board certified by the American College of Radiology.
Dr. Henne is a member of numerous professional societies including The Radiological Society of North America, Washington State Medical Association, Pacific Northwest Radiological Society, Washington State Radiological Society, National Osteoporosis Foundation, International Society for Clinical Densitometry, International Spine Intervention Society and the American College of Radiology.
